These talented potters begin their process by carefully selecting clay from the local surroundings. Bamessing pottery is known for its unique designs and intricate patterns. The potters skillfully incorporate traditional motifs, symbols, and geometric patterns into their creations, reflecting the cultural identity and stories of the community. These decorative elements are often carved, etched, or painted onto the surface of the pottery, adding depth and visual appeal

Griots and storytellers pass down myths, legends, and historical narratives through spoken word, captivating audiences with their eloquence and wisdom. These oral traditions serve as a vital thread connecting the past with the present and preserving the collective memory.

Many Nsei intellectuals and elites especially those of the 19th 20th and 21st centuries listen to these legendary stories and write them down in journals, magazine and novels for the purpose of future generations.
